Data science domains and water issues
DigiShape’s program is built around a number of domains that give direction to our activities and projects. The core of DigiShape consists of four specific data science domains, which indicate our niche within the water sector. They have an important role to play in the digital transformation of the water sector, as they contribute to applying, analysing and leveraging data for more robust water management and a better understanding of water-related challenges.
From the data science domains, we work on various water issues, which can vary depending on current developments. At the moment, we are focusing on Water & Logistics, Water Management and Spatial Planning of the North Sea, among other things, but other water-related issues are also given space, if data science can play a role in them.
DigiShape innovation platform
DigiShape is for people who can contribute with techniques such as data science, machine learning or artificial intelligence. And everyone with a responsibility for the water system.
Data science
We focus specifically on the great potential of digitization for the water sector. With the help of data science and digitalization, we develop innovative solutions for concrete challenges we face.
Open innovation
Companies, knowledge institutions and governments combine their data and knowledge to innovate the water sector. We work open source and experiment with new digital developments.
Become a partner
Within DigiShape, every partner can contribute a project and thus make use of the knowledge and expertise of the DigiShape community. Based on the idea of open innovation, anyone can join at any time.
Do you work in a project in which digitization plays a role? Are you interested in working on a project? Or do you see opportunities to innovate the water sector?
