We treat personal information that you share with us via this website as confidential. When processing personal data, we comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Sharing personal data with DigiShape is not mandatory. Most of the information on the DigiShape website can be read without you sharing personal data with us. However, entering your personal data is necessary to use a number of DigiShape services.

Types of data

Personal data

When signing up for DigiShape mailings, we ask you for:

  • Your name and email address, so we know where to send the email.

Event registrations

When registering for DigiShape activities, we ask you about:

  • Your email address and other contact details so that we can send you practical information about the event.

  • Your preference for workshops and other activities, for the purpose of organizing the event.

  • Information about your job role and work area so that we know if you are within the event’s target audience.

DigiShape stores all personal data in a database and stores it for as long as you have a subscription to our mailings. When you cancel your subscription, we will immediately stop sending mailings to you.

DigiShape does not provide personal data to third parties outside DigiShape without permission. Exceptions to this are the participant lists of meetings, which we share (if necessary to organize a good meeting) with our co-organizing partners.

Each mailing contains a link with which you can change your details and unsubscribe from our mailings.

Click behavior and visit data

On DigiShape.nl, we use Google Analytics measurement software that keeps track of general visitor data. For example, we discover which topics on the website are read well and which are not. Before your visit is registered in Google Analytics, your data is anonymized.

Cookie use

DigiShape uses cookies. A cookie is a small file that is sent along with pages from our website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer, tablet or smartphone.

Although each cookie is unique, your information from that cookie is not available to us in a way that would allow us to identify you. If you do not trust it, you can disable these types of cookies via your browser. It may then happen that some functions of the website do not work as well. Unfortunately, we can’t do anything about that.

Cookies remain on your computer until you delete them or until the expiry date has expired.

Inspection, correction and right of objection

If you want, you can always ask us what data we have stored about you. To do this, please send an e-mail to info@digishape.nl. If the overview provided by DigiShape contains inaccuracies, please use the same e-mail address to change your data or have it removed. Would you like to access your personal data linked to a cookie? Then send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find these in your browser’s settings.

You can only delete cookies yourself, because they are stored on your computer. Consult the ‘help’ menu of your browser.

Changes to the privacy statement

We reserve the right to change this privacy statement. If we do that, we will of course tell you about it on our website.
